A Power of Attorney is an important legal instrument which gives power to a person/s to manage your financial affairs whilst you are still alive. 

Powers of Attorney are useful to ensure that trusted person nominated by you can manage your financial affairs in particular circumstances - for example; if you were to loose mental capacity or you have restricted mobility.  Powers of Attorney can extend to include managing a person’s business interest and other financial affairs.
