Commercial Agreements FAQ'S
Can I get legal help after I have signed a contract?
Ideally it is better to get legal advice from your solicitor before signing. You should assume once you sign a contract it is a legally binding document. However, if you have entered a contract or other commercial agreement that you require advice regarding you should also seek advice as there may be options open to you in respect of it.
I don't understand the legal jargon used in my contract. How do I know what I am signing?
Its important that you seek independent legal advice from a solicitor. You may be signing something you don't agree with if you don't have it explained to you in plain English. Take the opportunity to take it to a solicitor & have each section explained before you sign.
